England's forward Harry Kane announced on Wednesday he will remain at Tottenham this season ending speculation over his move to Manchester City.
Kane had expressed interest in leaving his boyhood club this summer.
However, the England captain was welcomed back by Tottenham as he made his first appearance this season as substitute in a game that saw the team hammer Wolves 1-0.
"It was incredible to see the reception from the Spurs fans on Sunday and to read some of the messages of support I've had in the last few weeks," said Kane
"I will be staying at Tottenham this summer and will be 100 per cent focused on helping the team achieve success."
Kane 28 is Spurs is the second top scores in history with 221 goals just 45 off the record held by Jimmy Graves
He still has three years remaining on his six-year contract which he signed in 2018.
