Cristiano Ronaldo will remain at Juventus coach Massimiliano Allegri has reaffirmed, saying that he has received assurance from the Portugal star.
Ronaldo who has a year remaining on his contract has been a subject of transfer speculation with sources intimating that he might be moving back to Real Madrid.
"Let’s clarify this issue, Ronaldo told me that he’s staying,” Allegri said on Saturday.
The 36-year-old was Italy's top scorer last season with 29 goals.
Since joining Juve in 2018, Ronaldo has won two Serie A titles and one Italian cup.
During Sunday's Serie A opener match, Juventus is up against Udinese.
