Wiper Party to take action against Makueni Governor Kibwana

The Wiper Democratic Movement Party has written to Makueni Governor Kivutha Kibwana to show cause why he should not be expelled from the party.

The Kalonzo Musyoka led party has accused Kibwana of undermining the party leader.

Kibwana has been given 14 days to appear before the party's disciplinary committee.

The summons from the Wiper party comes just days after the Akamba governing council endorsed Kibwana's presidential bid.

In 2017, Kibwana's Muungano party entered into a Memorandum of Understanding with Wiper Party in a bid to bolster Kalonzo's presidential candidature then.
