Sports CS Amina Mohamed's husband is dead

The husband of Sports Cabinet Secretary Amina Mohamed is dead. 

According to the family spokesperson, Khalid Ahmed  died on Thursday, July 29, 2021 at 5 am while undergoing treatment at the Karen Hospital in Nairobi.

Tourism CS Najib Balala in his message of comfort to the family, described Ahmed as a great and generous man.

 "It is with great sadness that I have learnt of the passing on of Khalid Ahmed, husband to Ambassador Amina Mohamed. Khalid was a great man, generous to a fault and a pillar of strength to his family."

Ahmed was a father of two who was largely off the limelight while committed to his family and business.
