A 17-year-old boy stabbed his step-father to death on Sunday night in Mikindani, Mombasa County after the man picked a quarrel with his wife, the boy's mother, over infedility issues.
A police report on the incident indicates that the boy stabbed his step- father severally on the stomach, chest and the face using two kitchen knives that he sourced from their house and then he disappeared to an unknown destination.
Reportedly, boy is a student at Kajembe High school.
The deceased was pronounced dead on arrival at Mikindani medical centre where he was rushed after the incident.
The boy’s mother reported the incident to the police.
The police report indicates that efforts to trace the suspect are underway.
The deceased’s body was taken to the Coast General Hospital.
