Popular Genge artist Mejja has rubbished claims that he stole his new song #Tabia za Wakenya from an upcoming artist.
According to the upcoming artist, Kevin Ochieng aka Revina, Mejja and his producer Vicky Pondis allegedly stole the song from him and refused to credit him as he recorded the song before Mejja put it up on his YouTube channel.
However, Mejja responded by labelling the accusation as hate and a plan to derail him from releasing songs.
The genge veteran wrote, “NiLiKuwa Mimea Zangu NaKuTaNa Na Hii UFala, YaaNi Hate on Another Level, I Am The Same Person Helping New Artist Sasa Leo NiMeKuwa NaChuKuwa Doba Inaitwa DuNia, If Hii Ni Design Yaku Ni Slow Down Siwachi KUTOA NGOMA BELIEVE THAT HADI NIFE GOD ABOVE EVERYTHING.”
Just recently, Mejja's song #NaitwaMejja was pulled down from YouTube hours after it was released.
According to him, the song was pulled down from YouTube because it was reported for sampling and the person was unwilling to come to an understanding with him.
