The Judicial Service Commission has nominated Court Appeal Judge Justice William Ouko for the position of Supreme Court Judge.
JSC selection panel Chair Olive Mugenda while addressing the Press on Wednesday said that Justice Ouko was unanimously endorsed for the post after the conclusion of the interview exercise.
Justice Ouko,if approved will replace Justice Jackton Ojwang who retired early in the year.
Other candidates who had been interviewed for the post include ; Justice Said Chitembwe, Justice Marete Njagi, Justice Nduma Nderi, Justice Joseph Sergon, Lawyer Patrick Lumumba and Alice Yano.
Justice Ouko has over 33 years of experience in the legal profession.
