Uhuru, Ruto mourn Sports CS Amina Mohamed's brother

President Uhuru Kenyatta and Deputy President William Ruto have sent their messages of condolence to the family, relatives and friends of Esmael Mohamed Jibril, Sports CS Amina Mohamed's brother, who died on monday 

Jibril, who was a prominent city businessman  died while receiving treatment in India.

President Kenyatta wrote a message of comfort to the deceased's family, relatives and friends, describing the late Jibril as a highly motivated and gifted entrepreneur whose successful businesses provided employment to hundreds of young Kenyans.

The Head of State said, “As a country, we will forever owe a debt of gratitude to Mohamed for his role in making Kenya a better economy and, especially for the job opportunities he created for our people through his successful commercial interests."

Jibram Investments Limited and Java Coffee House which is East Africa’s leading coffee house are among the late Jibril's successful businesses. 

Uhuru prayed to God to give the Jibril family the strength and fortitude to bear the loss of their beloved kin.

Deputy President William Ruto also remembered the deceased as a highly respected, accomplished, innovative and visionary entrepreneur who made an immense contribution to Kenya and the whole of Africa. 

“We pray that the family and friends find strength and grace to bear the loss. Inna lilahi wa ina ilehyi rajiun,” Ruto said.
