Man commits suicide in Westlands by jumping from 8th floor

A man committed suicide on Thursday, March 4 by jumping from the 8th floor at the Nairobi Water and Sewerage Company at Parklands Plaza, Nairobi.

Reportedly, Kevin Njagi was an employee of   the company at around 8am on the same day he contacted his parents telling them that he would commit suicide. He jumped off the building twenty minutes later. 

According to Njagi's colleagues, he rarely opened up on what he was going through but he might have been depressed. 

A close source stated, "He was a good friend and I'm so shocked because I did not know he was going through something that could cost him his life." 

The incident was also confirmed by a police officer in the area.
