Kapenguria Member of Parliament Samuel Moroto was on Monday arraigned before a Kitale Law Court and charged with destruction of property belonging to the Agricultural Development Corporation( ADC) Suam worth Sh 7 million .
He denied the charges and was released on Sh 500,000 cash bail or Sh 1 million bond.
Senior Principal Magistrate Symphie Makila directed the MP to appear before the court on March 15, 2021 for further direction.
Earlier, Moroto was arrested while visiting families evicted from the settlement scheme in Trans Nzoia County.
