Former NTV anchor Winnie Mukami has succumbed to Covid-19 at city hospital where she was receiving treatment after contracting the virus.
Before joining NTV as a news anchor, Mukami served in different capacities at KBC where she began her media career.
However, in 2010, she left NTV to lead her public relations firm, Winners Frontiers International Limited.
In 2018, Mukami was appointed to the Kenya Pipeline Company board thereby serving the company for three years.
Kenyans including colleagues have since sent their messages of condolence to the family on social media.
