DCI detectives arrest school teacher suspected to have assaulted a pupil

Detectives from the Directorate of Criminal Investigations (DCI) have arrested a teacher, Joseph Nduva, for allegedly assaulting a pupil sexually during a school trip.

The sleuths are also on a manhunt for another teacher, Mike Kioko, in the context of similar allegations.

The school, Step Up Zion, entrusted a few teachers including Kioko and Nduva with the care of its 32 KCPE candidates in a tour to Tsavo Inn Hotel located in Mtito Andei that it organized for them.

A police report indicated that a customer saw Kioko and Nduva fondling two school-girls at a swimming pool on Saturday.

The customer then called the police, but Kioko  managed to escape during the dramatic arrest.

On the other hand, Nduva will be arraigned in court on Monday as cops continue with investigations and a man hunt for the suspect who escaped.
