As a way of diversifying revenue and increasing revenue durability, Twitter is considering adding subscriptions fees for some of its features
Twitter’s revenue product lead Bruce Falck said, "You will see us continue to research and experiment with ways to further diversify our revenue beyond ads in 2021 and beyond.”
Hill media also reported that the
fees may include subscriptions and other approaches for giving individuals and businesses of all sizes on Twitter access to unique features.
According to Bloomberg, Twitter is also considering charging for services like TweetDeck or other advanced features, such as 'undo send' or profile-customization options to make additional revenue.
TweetDeck, which has advanced features, enhances the convenience of the Twitter experience by letting users view multiple timelines in one easy interface.
The features help users get the most of Twitter such that they can manage multiple Twitter accounts, schedule Tweets for posting in the future, build Tweet collections, and more.
