Social media influencer and popular Reality TV personality Kim Kardashian West has filed for divorce from Kanye West.
A Los Angeles Superior Court clerk confirmed the news to CNN on Friday.
Kardashian West's representative Christy Welder also confirmed the divorce filing but said Kardashian West had no additional comment.
According to reports, the Reality TV star filed for a divorce because of irreconcilable differences and she seeks joint custody of the four children she has with Kanye West.
The filing also cites a prenuptial agreement regarding their assets.
The couple met in the early 2000s and tied the knot in a lavish wedding in Italy in 2014. However, they have been living apart for some time.
Reportedly, West has been living at their home in Wyoming, while Kardashian West has been in California with their children.
Their four children are daughter North who was born in 2013, followed by a son, Saint, born in 2015, daughter, Chicago, born in 2018, and son, Psalm, born in 2019.
