In the last 24 hours, 181 individuals have tested positive for Covid-19 from a sample size of 5,577 tested, pushing the country's cumulative confirmed positive cases to 105,648.
Health CS Mutahi Kagwe issued a statement on Saturday, February 27, disclosing that the total tests conducted so far are 1,295,556.
From the new cases, 159 are Kenyans while 22 are foreigners.112 are males while 69 are females.
The youngest is a two-month-old child while the oldest is 86 years.
The total recoveries are 86,609. 88 patients have recovered from the disease in the last 24 hours.
Unfortunately, Kenya's cumulative fatality has been pushed to 1,854 as one patient has succumbed to the disease in the last 24 hours.
Currently, 347 patients are admitted in various health facilities countrywide, while 1,430 patients are on Home Based Isolation and Care.
From the 59 patients in the Intensive Care Unit (ICU), 25 are on ventilatory support and 29 on supplemental oxygen. 5 patients are on observation.
Another 15 patients are separately on supplementary oxygen with 14 of them in the general wards and one is in the High Dependency Unit (HDU).
