Kenya record 410 Covid-19 cases, 6 fatalities

 Kenya has recorded 410  positive Covid-19 cases in the last 24 hours from a sample size of 7,180 tested, bringing the total positive cases so far to 105,467.

From the new positive cases, 368 are Kenyans while 42 are foreigners. 276 are males while 134 are females.

The oldest case is 83 years while the youngest is a one-year-old child. 

The total recoveries are 86,521. In the last 24 hours, 24 patients have recovered from the disease. 

Sadly, the cumulative fatality has been pushed to 1,853 as 6 patients succumbed to the disease in the last 24 hours. 

Currently, 342 patients are admitted in various health facilities countrywide while 1,420 patients are on Home Based Isolation and Care . 

From the 61 patients in the Intensive Care Unit ( ICU ), 25 are on ventilatory support and 27 on supplemental oxygen . 9 patients are on observation .

Another 12 patients are separately on supplementary oxygen all of whom are in general wards. However, there is no patient in a High Dependency Unit (HDU).
