Bayern Munich's Thomas Muller has tested positive for coronavirus, the club announced on Friday.
The German national will now proceed to isolation for 10 days while his teammates compete for the FIFA Club World Cup in Doha.
In a statement, the club said the 31-year-old tested positive and was promptly isolated .
"Following his return to Munich, he will immediately go into quarantine. FC Bayern has agreed this with the relevant authorities. The whole FC Bayern team was tested again on Thursday. There were no further positive cases."the club tweeted.
