Orange Democratic Movement (ODM) party leader Raila Odinga asserted that he can market himself in Central Kenya without the help of Tanga Tanga MPs.
Reportedly, the lawmakers wrote to President Uhuru Kenyatta saying that they are not ready to market the former Prime Minister in Central Kenya.
Speaking during the burial of his former classmate the late Jushua Ogendi at Nyakasumbi village in Bondo, the ODM leader however responded by arguing that no one told the MPs to market him in Central Kenya.
According to Raila, no one can stop him from touring the region because it is part of Kenya.
“No one asked them to market Raila in Central Kenya, if Raila wants to market himself in Central, he does not need them to do that,” he affirmed.
He added that the BBI is aimed at addressing issues like the heightening political temperature in the country.
The ODM leader urged all the 47 counties to ignore the political propaganda being propagated against BBI and support the passing of the bill as fast as possible.
He acknowledged the remarks of President Uhuru Kenyatta in Sagana.
