Nigerian man suspected of killing Nairobi lawyer to be arraigned today

A Nigerian national who allegedly killed his lover in Syokimau Machakos County will be arraigned on Monday.

Christian Kadima Mwambay will be arraigned at the Mavoko Law Courts over the death of city-based lawyer, Elizabeth Koki.

A detective privy to the matter said that police will seek to detain the murder suspect for more days as the investigation continues.

“Police want him detained in lawful custody for more days as the investigations go on,” the detective who spoke in confidence said.

Mr Kadima is also wanted in South Africa and Dubai to answer to assault charges.

The foreign national jetted into the country in September 2017 after he fled South Africa where he has an active case.

Kadima had in several occasions assaulted the deceased who had initially threatened to take him to court.
