Kenyans on Twitter expressed mixed reactions over a tweet posted by Kenyan rapper Octopizzo who criticized Kenyans for supporting Diamond massively but giving little or no support to Otile Brown, a Kenyan music artist with a music style aligned with the Bongo genre.
Octopizzo’s tweet read, “MFs out here Gassing Diamond but will not support Otile Brown. The Mediocrity on this platforms. Smh.”
The Tuesday afternoon tweet instigated different reactions from netizens as some people agreed with him while others criticized him as well and justified their love for Diamond of local artists in Kenya.

Several hours before the tweet, Diamond released a new song Featuring Koffi Olomide dubbed #Waah which is currently trending at number one on YouTube in Kenya.
The video began with tremendous success cloaking 1 million views in just 8 hours. It is currently at 2.9 million views, which is still a remarkable achievement in 24 hours.
