In the last 24 hours, Kenya has recorded 282 new Covid-19 cases from a sample size of 4,095. Cumulatively, there are 95,713 cases confirmed in the country so far while the cumulative tests are stand at 1,029,748.
From the 282 new cases, 240 are Kenyans while 42 are foreigners while 164 are males and 118 are females.
The oldest is 100 years old while the youngest is 2 years old.
On a positive note, 91 patients have recovered from the disease and out of this lot 84 are from the home-based care program while 7 have been discharged from different health facilities.
The cumulative number of recoveries in the country stands at 76,811 so far.
However, one patient succumbed to the disease, increasing the number of fatalities to 1,653.
768 patients are currently admitted in various health facilities countrywide and 3,659 are on home-based isolation and care.
Those in the ICU are 37 from which 18 are on ventilatory support, 17 on supplementary oxygen, and the other two are on observation.
From the 33 patients that are separately on supplementary oxygen, 26 are in the general wards while 7 are in the High Dependency Unit (HDU).
