Governor Oparanya reopens refurbished Muliro Gardens

Kakamega Governor Wycliffe Oparanya reopened the  infamous Muliro Gardens after an upgrade that cost Sh61 million.

Therefore, Kakamega residents will be able to use the recreational park during this festive season. 

Oparanya opened the gates of the facility which showed an outstanding spectacle due to the great renovations. 

The recreational park is located within the Central Business District of Kakamega town and the residents or people visiting the town are free to enter, relax and have fun. 

Muliro Gardens had been closed for renovations that took about three years. The World Bank funded the renovations through the Kenya Urban Support Programme.

Sudi Lane, which is in close proximity to the recreational facility was also upgraded and completed with a taxi parking fitted with cabro.
