Mo Salah tests positive for COVID-19

The Egyptian FA has confirmed that Mo Salah has tested positive for COVID-19.

Its a big blow for an injury-stricken Liverpool FC as they face to miss services of the Egyptian.

The striker does not show signs and symptoms  but is set to self isolate. The positive test comes after Salah attended a wedding and was seen dancing with guests not wearing a mask.

The positive tests should not sideline the 28-year-old for long provided he remains asymptomatic or develops only mild symptoms. Liverpool are not due to play again until their Premier League encounter with Leicester on 22 November.

Salah joins Sadio Mane and Thiago in the list of players who have been sidelined for testing positive with Covid-19.

Liverpool is now missing services of Joe Gomez, Alexander Trent, Vin Djik, Allison, Thiago, Joe Matip and Fabinho due to knocks.
