How American star Jenniffer Lawrence celebrated Biden's win

Popular American actress Jennifer Lawrence expressed her excitement and joy for Joe Biden's win as the 46th President of the United States by running down the streets of Boston in her pyjamas.

The 30-year-old Hunger Games star said that Trump's administration changed her view of politics.

In a recent interview with V Magazine, the actress revealed that she is no longer a Republican, gave her reasons and added that she would vote for Joe Biden as Trump disappointed her.

Jennifer said, "I’m voting for Joe Biden this year because Donald Trump has and will continue to put himself before the safety and wellbeing of America. He does not represent my values as an American, and most importantly as a human being."

The star also spoke on the Not podcast and revealed when her political view changed.

She explained, "It's extremely hard to talk about politics. You don't want to. I'm an actor, I want everyone to see my movies. I grew up Republican. My first time voting, I voted for John McCain. I was a little Republican. I changed my politics based on the things that I've learned. "

She went further to explain how Donald Trump disappointed her as a Republican leader.

“I was fortunate to grow up in a Republican house where I can see the financial benefits of some of the Republican policies, and I can also see that the social issues weren't in line with my views. For me, when Donald Trump got elected, that just changed everything. This is an impeached president who's broken many laws and has refused to condemn white supremacy, and it feels like there has been a line drawn in the sand," the Hunger Games star added.

Jennifer is in Boston filming her upcoming movie, Don't Look Up.
