Chelsea beat Newcastle 2-0 to go top of the PL table with 18 points, level with Leicester City who face Liverpool later.
Chelsea took an early 1-0 lead into half-time through Fernandez's own goal after 10 minutes.
Tammy Abraham extended the lead from a Timo Werner assist in the 65th minute.
Timo's goal was ruled offside to the disappointment of the forward who was replaced by Hudson Odoi in the last quarter of the game.
Newcastle United had a few chances with Longstaff hitting the bar but still deservedly lost to a strong Chelsea side.
Newcastle are now 13th with eleven points.
