Chelsea beat Rennes 2-1 to seal their qualification into the round of 16 with two games to spare.
Olivier Giroud's sublime header secured the victory at Rennes. The French striker has played just 127 minutes for Frank Lampard's side.
Rennes looked as if to deny Chelsea when Serhou Guirassy headed home from a corner to cancel out Odoi's opener.
The blues dominated the first half but missed their chances which almost made them regret as they depended on their defence to keep the hosts at bay.
Eduoard Mendy made a couple of good saves against his former club. Chelsea are top of Group E with 10 points, nine more than both Rennes and Krasnodar who lost to Sevilla on a similar scoreline.
