Former Kiss FM presenter Andrew Kibe has began his self-made journey by unveiing his own online media station.
According to Kibe the radio station dubbed Rogue Radio will create content, play music and include news as well as other productions.
Kibe intends to make the station unique and operational 24/7 so that it can be outstanding when compared to other platforms.
He spoke a local publication and revealed that the station will be launched on Monday, November 30.
"It is the next real thing, not the next big thing. For years, we have had people terming their projects as the" next big thing," Kibe said.
Although he liked does not reveal where the studios are located, he confirmed that they are in Nairobi.
Kibe added, "We want to talk about the truth and offer artists a chance to play their music, which mainstream media does not want to play. I have followers as far as in the diaspora and they will access links similar to those used in Kenya to listen to us."
Kibe declined to comment on the station's alleged mass recruitment reports but on social media he announced that he has signed aw individuals to the station.
The media personality launched a series of podcasts on Sunday, July 26. He stated that they will run concurrently with his new station and they will be platforms for content creation.
Kibe quit Radio Africa Group five months ago. He was previously a presenter at NRG radio.
