Members of Nairobi Assembly wants an audit of all building and land transfers approvals in the capital amid concern that some officials had abused their positions to cut fraudulent deals.
This agreement was reached due to the passage of the motion urging the Nairobi Metropolitan Services led by Mohammed Badi to probe the officials suspected to be involved in corruption.
"NMS should move with speed to conduct an audit on all public land within the planning and housing department with investigations into the grabbed public spaces dating from 2010" Said Parklands Jayendra Malde.
