151 people have tested positive for coronavirus, Health Chief Administrative Secretary Dr Rashid Aman announced on Wednesday.
This now brings the country's total caseload to 38,529.
The new cases are from 547 samples tested in the last 24 hours and comprise 145 Kenyans and 6 foreign nationals.
97 of the cases are males while 45 are females aged one year and 82 years old.
The cases are distributed as follows; Nairobi 32, Nakuru 24, Kisumu 22, Garissa 14, Mombasa 10, Meru 8, Kajiado 8, Kisii 6, Bomet 5, Kiambu 5, Siaya 3, Uasin Gishu, West Pokot, Kilifi, Murang'a have two cases each while Kakamega, Bungoma and Kitui have one case each.
At the same time, 168 new recoveries were recorded with 105 being from the home-based case system while 63 were discharged from various health facilities bringing the total number of recoveries to 24,908.
Four people, however, succumbed to the disease this brings the death toll to 711.
