Azimio la Umoja One Kenya Coalition party candidate Raila Odinga and his running mate Martha Karua have been cleared to contest the presidency in the August 9th General Election.
The electoral commission boss Wafula Chebukati said the nomination papers of Mr Odinga and Ms Karua met the conditions set.
Mr Odinga who will be making his fifth attempt for the top seat becomes the fifth presidential candidate to be cleared to contest.
The others are Walter Mong'are of Umoja Summit Party, Prof George Wajackoyah of Roots Party of Kenya, David Mwaura Waihiga of the Agano party and Deputy President William Ruto who will be flying the UDA flag.
Mr Odinga is expected to lead a rally in Undugu grounds in Lang'ata constituency before he proceeds to Nakuru County where he will hold roadside rallies and thereafter a major rally at Mazembe Grounds.
