Comedian Jasper Muthomi popularly known as MC Jessy has rescinded his decision of quiting South Imenti Parliamentary race and backing Mwiti Kathaara of the United Democratic Alliance (UDA)party.
Speaking to the press on Monday, MC Jessy who had taken up a job at DP Ruto's Presidential campaign team announced that he has rejoined the contest and will be running as an independent candidate.
“Sent like an arrow from a mighty man’s hand. We keep going….. Bado Tuko kwa race. Let’s do this South Imenti, August 9 it is,” MC Jessy said.
At the same time, the comedian has moved to quell speculations that with his new move he might be throwing his support behind Azimio la Umoja One Kenya Alliance Presidential Candidate Raila Odinga affirming that he is firmly behind DP Ruto.
"Thank you My Boss HE The Deputy President Dr, William Ruto for your counsel, my support for you remains intact!!!."
