Ex-Gor Mahia and Simba SC midfielder Francis Kahata has joined Kenya Police FC.
Kahata joins the Law Enforcers from the Ethiopian side of Sidama Coffee SC where he had just spent four months after the lapse of his contract at Tanzanian giants Simba SC.
Kenya Police FC on Friday confirmed the acquisition of the player who has signed a one-year contract.
Kahata is capped over 30 times by the national football team, Harambee Stars.
Police who are ninth on the log with 21 points from 16 matches and 12 from leaders Kakamega Homeboyz has so far made seven signings.
Among players signed to the team include; John Makwata, David ' Messi' Owino, Erick Juma, Job Ochieng, Duke Abuya, Clifton Miheso, and Geoffrey Shiveka.
