President Uhuru Kenyatta has nominated Elizabeth Muchiri as representative of the National Police Service Commission at the Salaries and Remuneration Commission( SRC).
National Assembly Deputy Speaker Moses Cheboi directed the Finance committee to consider the nomination.
The committee should also report to the House within 28 days effective January 25 when the House resumes from recess.
At the same time, The National Assembly have approved the nomination of Caroline Naikena and Thomas Okoth Oyier as members of the Gender and Equality Commission.They will now await appointment by President Uhuru Kenyatta.
The National Assembly also approved the nomination of Ambassador Anthony Mwaniki Muchiri as Public Service Commission Chairperson.
