The High Court in Eldoret has allowed the family of the slain olympian Agnes Jebet Tirop to manage her properties.
After her killing in Iten on October 12, her family moved to the court seeking to block any transfer or sell of her properties claiming the main suspect in her murder Ibrahim Rotich had sold one of her properties.
Mr. Rotich who is the boyfriend of the deceased is being held at Eldoret GK Prison, after pleading not guilty to the murder charge.
Justice Rueben Nyakundi while making his ruling granted the athlete's father Vincent Tirop, the letter of administration.
Mr. Tirop had told the court that most of her daughter's property changed ownership while she was in Tokyo, Japan for the Olympics and three months to her death.
