Elders endorse Governor Tunai to run for Senate seat in 2022

A section of elders drawn from Loita, Keekonyokie, Purko, and Siria clans have endorsed Narok Governor Samuel Ole Tunai's bid to run for the county senatorial seat.

The county boss was blessed by the  elders in a ceremony held at Entasekera in Loita ward with the elders urging him to remain in politics since he is " too young to retire."

" If a student passes exams, he should be promoted to the next class . That's why we are saying Mr. Tunai has passed his exam and should be taken to the senate," said Daniel Saitai, an elder.

Mr. Tunai who is serving his second and last term as the county boss will be seeking to unseat the incumbent Ledama Ole Kina, land activist Meitamei Olol Dapash and Julius Kuyioni a local journalist working with Maiyan FM who all have declared interest in contesting for the seat.
