A father, his son and a businessman died in a head-on collision between road accident two motorbikes in Kombani area on the Mombasa-Lunga Lunga road.
Reports indicate that the two motorbikes burst into flames after the head-on collision that occurred in the wee hours of Thursday. The injured sustained severe burns.
The reports also showed that during the accident the man was on the motorbike with his son and his wife and a businessman who was on the second bike also died.
Police officers said the woman who lost her husband and her son in the accident and the rider of the second bike are currently receiving medical care at the Mswambweni County Referral Hospital.
The bodies of the deceased were taken to the Mswambweni County Referral Hospital mortuary.
