Kenya's first Post Independence Attorney General and the only surviving member of the first cabinet Sir Charles Njonjo has refuted reports of his death.
Njonjo in a statement sent to newsrooms on Sunday termed the reports as great exaggeration.
In the release, Njonjo intimated that he is at his home enjoying his weekend.
"Reports of my death have been greatly exaggerated. I am well and enjoying my weekend at home as we celebrate Utamaduni Day,” he said.
On Saturday evening, the interwebs were awash with rumours about Njonjo's death.
