Veteran politician Orie Rogo Manduli is dead.
According to her family, Manduli died on Wednesday, September 8, at her Riverside residence.
Although she had been in and out of hospital, Manduli was making good progress, a family member stated.
Her condition however deteriorated on Wednesday afternoon thereby resulting in her death.
Sources indicate that the vocal politician also suffered a heart attack but recovered.
Manduli, who was also the country's first female rally driver,enjoyed being in the public eye
She she was referred to as Ambassador at the International Council of Women’s permanent representative to the United Nations Environment Programme and Habitat.
