Wiper Democratic Movement leader Kalonzo Musyoka has pointed out that corruption enhances inequality and poverty in the country.
Noting that some leaders enrich themselves to the detriment of the impoverished majority of Kenyans, Kalonzo regretted that greed for money has been normalised to the point that the corrupt individuals are praised by Kenyans.
The Wiper leader was speaking at Royal Christian Church in Ongata Rongai where he attended the Sunday church service.
He promised that his government will recover stolen wealth and revert it to the economy.
He also spoke on education, pledging free secondary education to ease the burden on parents.
According to Kalonzo, a 24-hour economy model will be key to stimulate the economy and create jobs as Kenya requires a paradigm shift post-Covid-19.
Noting that Covid-19 was killing many Kenyans while treatment for those infected to too expensive for the ordinary Kenyan, Kalonzo urged the government to ensure vaccination of over 10 million Kenyans by December.
The Wiper leader was accompanied by other leaders vowed to campaign for him to be Kenya's next president.
