Football Kenya Federation Premier League champions Tusker FC have resigned Kenyan International Patrick Matasi.
Matasi, who was a free agent after leaving St Georges of Ethiopia earlier this year rejoined the brewer's on a two-year contract.
" We would like to confirm that goalkeeper Patrick Matasi has rejoined the team on a two-year contract. He will don the number 34 jersey, " said Tusker in a statement
Matasi who joined Tusker in 2018 from Posta Rangers before leaving for the Ethiopian club three months later was elated about his later move noting;" Iam really happy to be back at Tusker and it’s a great pleasure for me. I was here for only three months then left and for me to come back means there is something I didn’t fulfil as a player. I am here to work and help the team prosper and achieve its targets,” Matasi said.
“I come into a great team which has achieved a lot. Tusker has won the league and qualified to represent the country in the CAF Champions League and this means a lot to me as a player. I have to work and fight to defend the badge of the club,” added the Stars goalkeeper.
