Manchester United on Friday announced that they have reached a deal with Cristiano Ronaldo from Italian Side Juventus.
"Manchester United is delighted to confirm that the club has reached agreement with Juventus for the transfer of Cristiano Ronaldo, subject to agreement of personal terms, visa and medical," United said in a statement.
"Everyone at the club looks forward to welcoming Cristiano back to Manchester."
United sensationally re-signed the Portuguese star 12 years after he left Old Trafford for Real Madrid.
Premier League Champion Manchester City had also expressed interest in signing the five-time Ballon d'Or winner after missing out on Spurs and England captain, Harry Kane but the deal never materialized.
Ronaldo is set to pen a two-year deal with United.
