Masinde Muliro Professor found dead in his house

A professor at Masinde Muliro University, Ezekiel Kasiera, was found dead at his home in Lurambi on Thursday, July 8 in the early hours of the day. 

The deceased’s househelp who found the body narrated, “When I woke up, I found the toilet he uses was dirty so I cleaned it.”  

She added that the Professor coughed a lot during the night before his sudden death. However, the cause of death yet to be established.

Just a week ago, a Masinde Muliro University student was brutally murdered. 

According to police reports, the student was first assaulted before being hit on the head with a blunt object resulting in her death.

In response, students at the university launched protests decrying the rampant insecurity at the university.
