A 20-year-old man, Masten Milimu, has confessed to Directorate of Criminal Investigations (DCI) detectives that he kidnapped and murdered two children.
The two children aged 13 and 12 disappeared mysteriously on June 30 and July 7 respectively in Shauri Moyo.
The sleuths are currently holding him for further questioning.
Wanjala led the detectives to the spot in Kabete where he claimed to have killed the minors and disposed off their bodies.
The DCI noted that the suspect contacted one of the minor’s mother earlier to demand a ransom of Ksh.50,000 and one of Ksh.30,000 from the other minor’s mother who is also contacted, claiming he would free the children after the ransom payments.
According to the detectives, the suspect could be responsible for the murders of over 10 children so they are interrogating him to establish the whereabouts of the other minors.
