The High Court has temporarily blocked the arrest or prosecution of Law Society of Kenya President Nelson Havi for allegedly assaulting the Society's CEO Mercy Wambua.
The orders signed by Justice Jairus Ngairah were directed to the Director of Public Prosecution, Directorate of Criminal Investigations, and the Inspector General of Police.
The outspoken LSK boss was granted 7 days to apply for a substantive motion for the judicial review and the respondent another 7 days to respond upon being served the motion.
