Nakuru businessman Patel Mansukh the proprietor of the Solai estate is dead, his family has confirmed.
Mansukh's family said the patriarch died at the Aga Khan Hospital in Nairobi on Monday night.
He reportedly succumbed to cardiac arrest.
Nakuru Governor Lee Kinyanjui in his message of condolences to the family described Patel as an entrepreneur whose businesses employed hundreds of people
The businessman's name came into the limelight in 2019 when the Solai dam owned by his son Perry Mansukh burst its banks resulting in the death of 48 people and displacement of hundreds.
