Denmark and Inter Milan midfielder Christian Eriksen remains in hospital and is in stable condition after collapsing during his side's Euro 2020 opening match against Finland, the Danish Football Association said on Sunday.
"This morning we have spoken to Christian Eriksen, who has sent his greetings to his teammates. His condition is stable, and he continues to be hospitalized for further examination,” Danish FA DBU said on Twitter.
Eriksen 29, collapsed suddenly minutes to the first half while running near the left touchline after a ball throw-in.
His teammates gathered around him while he received CPR on the pitch and was carried off on a stretcher.
The Group B match was halted and then eventually restarted after one hour and forty minutes later.
Finland went to win 1-0.
