Lady Justice Martha Koome, the nominee for the position of Chief Justice will be vetted on May 13th, 2021.
In a notice published in the local dailies on Friday by the Clerk of the National Assembly Michael Sialai, stated the vetting will be conducted at the mini-chamber County Hall, Parliament Building.
Members of the public have been notified to submit their written statements with supporting evidence on the suitability or otherwise on the nominee for appointment office.
Affidavits are to be sent to the Clerk of the National Assembly before May 12th, 5 pm.
On Tuesday, May 27th the Judicial Service Commission ( JSC) unanimously nominated Ms Koome for the position of Chief Justice and forwarded her name to the president.
