The owner of the popular Kilimanjaro chain of Hotels, Yasin Jama, has died.
Jama passed away on Friday, April 2 in a hospital in Nairobi.
Mzee Jama also served as the vice-chair of the Eastleigh business community.
He has been eulogized by many leaders and businessmen as a great leader.
The cause of death is however yet to be disclosed.
Kenyans on social media have also shared their condolences messages to the family as they eulogized the late Jama.
Fatuma Ali Saman wrote on Twitter, "I remember his words when I was a school principal “A team never loses but the captain does” Ayaan and family may Allah grant you Sabr and replace your lose with something of Kheyr."
Bilal expressed, “May Allah be pleased with Mzee Yasin. Kilimanjaro is my favourite restaurant.”
He is to be buried on Saturday, April 3 at the Langata cemetery after the Dhuhur prayers.
