The number of coronavirus related fatalities in Kenya has surpassed the 2500 mark as of Monday.
The Ministry of Health announced that 20 more patients had succumbed to the virus bringing the total number of fatalities in the country to 2501.
The country has also recorded 241 new infections in the last 24 hours pushing the national caseload to 151,894.
At the same time, 636 new recoveries were registered in the same period, this now brings to 102, 278 the total number of recoveries.
