Deby's Son named Chad's Interim President

The Chadian army has named General Mahamat Kaka, the late President Idriss Deby's son as the head of the military council to replace the late President.


This follows the announcement by the army spokesman General Azem Agouna who said the late Head of State" breathed his last defending the sovereign of the nation  in the battlefield over the weekend,   "


Deby's son oversaw his security as the lead of the elite presidential guard.


Deby 68, one of the world longest-serving leaders had won the April 11th presidential election with 79.32 percent of the votes.
